I've been experiencing a pain in the arse whilst cycling.
After much googling and a trip to my very reluctant to help g.p I believe it is as above.
Has anyone had any experience with this.
How did you overcome it...I'm only 26 and want to get riding!!
Everyone has ischial tuberosities,what do you think is wrong with them?
Oh, oops copied and pasted the wrong bit. I get pain when on a saddle, so can only presume something not right.

I.T. is your "sit" bones during cycling, you need to find a saddle that matches them. Some shops will measure your arse and suggest a saddle, I believe Specialized concept store will do this.
Very important to know the distinction between your ischial tuberosities and your distal humerus... 😉
If it's pain just south of your sit bone it'll more than likely be an origin hamstring strain.
Reminds me of a wee saying someone thought up on our physio course - I felt her ischial tuberosity and got a semi. (semi - referring to the hamstring that starts at your ischial tub.)
