Any comments for Size. Casual wearing-walking home from pub- maybe a small hike on some hills
Or is there something more towards a riding jacket that could do a similar, better job

it's a wind stopper rather than a winter jacket, as in you won't get wind chill but it'll have very little thermal properties so if you aren't moving quickly or working hard you'll get bloomin cold.

Dunno what stuff is like now, but when I worked selling outdoors stuff a few years ago, North Face wasn't seen as all that great, and certainly some of their stuff seems 'cheap'.

I've used Mountain Equipment stuff, and found it to be very good indeed. The equivalent I've found (well seems to be similar) is a bit pricier though, at £170.

I'm using a £40 Decathlon jacket which I find perfect at the moment, mind. 🙂
