i haven't, and i don't particularly like road biking, but for some strange reason i want one.
search the forum for it - there was a thread last week about it with a link to a review. but no, nothing much comes close in terms of value.

They look nice for the money, but there are others out there from Focus, Planet X, Ribble etc. It might come down to what you can test-ride.
We're gonna get a couple of Lapierre road bikes in the shop to see what they're like.

Ok i'm biased, but you won't find anything out there that is better value.
If my dodgy back could cope with drop bars i'd have had one by now..It has topped a few reviews
