Not sure when i re-cable mine whether to go back to a under seat lever. Where i ride i know like the back of my hand so don't really need the element of surprise panic button.

Suppose its only a 2 minute job to swap over, anyone done it and swapped back?

Hmmm - I used to have an under seat lever and I would never go back to it now. It's not that it was awful, but with a remote it's so much better.

Ive did it on one bike and decided tonight to do the same thing on another, ive just noticed ive started to do a heliver lot of faffing with the one with the remote and the one with the lever is hassle free.

Only gone back to under seat lever as my post doesn't return very well and needs a bit of help.. Wouldn't really recommend unless you know exactly where you drop post and are happy to go one handed. Can be a bit interesting when going for it, so don't bother quite often which brings its own issues 😯

When I get a new dropper it will be remote.

Mine is a joplin so trying to minimise issues over the winter and a sticky cable just adds fuel to the fire 🙂

You only ride the same place over and over again? It's not a remote lever you need it's a road atlas.
