As title, I'm new(ish, been here nearly 2 years, but no riding) to the area, anyone fancy showing me round?

Went for a walk there on Sunday and it seemed to be a mixture of "no cycling in this area" signs and tyre tracks heading straight past them!

So any locals fancy showing me round?

You mean 10th/11th? I can prob do Sat PM or maybe an early start Sunday AM - I'm not quick, but I do know my way around.

Awesome,

Shall we say Saturday 2:30pm?

Roll call so far;

Anyone got a good idea where to meet up? I'll be in my Ben & Jerries top on a bright red unbranded hardtail built up with fairly fancy bits. So in MTB circles I stick out like a sore thumb!

Edit: thepurist what times best for you? Sat PM is better for me because I'm lazy, Rob wants Sun AM, as long as a train is running either is fine by me.

Your welcome to bring a pot noodle allong, but TBH I'd rather eat cake on a ride, less spillage on the downhills.

TINAS - If you're getting the train from Reading you've got the choice of Martin's Heron or Blackwater depending where you want to meet.

Ricochet Rob - you still on for this?

I quite fancy an early morning Sunday ride. Let me check with the boss if she's OK to look after the little 'un. I've not ridden for months so I won't be setting any records but I do have a couple of routes in a GPS we could use.
