I drove out of bottom car park as soon as I finished, bought a cuppa then cleared off, car struggled to get out of the park. Home now, missing beer and curry though.
I foresee many threads on monday - what 4x4 for muddy field exits !
Not muddy field. Nice Tarmac road. Not steep. Not flat though. Phew.
Thanks to everyone who pushed the campervan and other cars up the lane.
And hooray for winter tyres. It was sort of fun watching the BMW in front of me slide gently sideways just before going over the motorway bridge.
Just sorry we missed out on going to the pub, as the snow had sent most people home.
It was fun, wasn't it? I was sat behind the small BC van for ages watching various vans and rear wheel drive german cars drift from side to side on the ice rink slope before jase and co brought the traffic cones full of grit down...
Great effort by the people pushing and gritting, sat there for an hour trying to get out. 😮
