Sounds like mine, except mine's a 26" Evo2 with Lyriks (set to 145mm I think), SLX brakes, 10spd Zee gears and BrandX dropper.

Bloody love mine, tons of fun. Here it is a while ago on Cadair Idris. I've changed a few bits since then.

456

Not sure about it feeling full sus, it beats me up a lot more than my Rocket... Probably gets me into more trouble too, just not quite so spectacularly.

I built one up for the missus a few years ago, 2x10 SLX gearing, deore brakes and 140 sektors. She rides between 5 and 12 times a year and keeps saying to sell it but I managed to build it for £270 all in courtesy of the free ads and spares bin so it owes me very little. Its a great bike, a tad small for me but I'll take it for a short blast now and again to check its all in order.

Love my On-One 456 Evo Carbon. Bit battered but wouldn't change it for the world.

Picture taken earlier this year at Marin Trail.

Running 27.5" Hope Pro 4 XC (picture taken whilst running some Mavics)
1 x 11 XT Group Set
Yari 130mm fork

Can't work out how to embed the photo so it's here (I think);

Great bikes. I've got a deedar now, but for the £800 I paid for it (less when you take c2w into account) I got a very fun few thousand miles from it. Such capable bikes!

Mine has long gone now, but thoroughly enjoyed it, particularly when I put a 150mm Yari on the front! No idea how to post pictures on here though....

Had mine since 2015. It's a proper workhorse that just keeps going and going.

Mine has 140mm Revelations
Arch rims
Hope pro 2 hubs (never serviced and still silky smooth)
Guide R Brakes (never bled and still going stong!)
Hans damph and Rock Razor tyre combo

Weights a ton but very capable and fun

Almost sold it at one point but very glad I didn't

Had one, cracked the frame. On One sorted me out a warranty replacement, but I’d already bought the replacement (Dartmoor Primal), so I flogged it. Cracked across a tube just above the rear brake mount.

I never really got on with the 45650b as much as I did its predecessor (456 evo 2 - nicked by some shitstain when they also burgled our house). I felt the gas pipe seat stay was much less compliant than the four piece arrangement on the evo. In the end I decided that the 45650b was an extra chunk of weight to carry around when it was missing the ‘steel feel’. I loved the look of it (raw), mind.

Still got my 2009 pink 26" 456, Fox Vanillas (c. 2006) and a 1x Zee drivetrain.

My go to shitty weather bike, good mud clearance and zero concern about chucking it away filthy and brushing it off a few days later.

It's had a rack and child seat on it for both kids, towed a follow me, run with 100mm as a heavy xc bike and been 69r'd.

My FS bike is quicker and more capable but the 456 is the better mud and slop tool.

Does anyone know geometry numbers for the more recent 45650b frames. Been looking at a titanium 2017 model second hand. Cant seem to find anything on the web. Are they the same as the 2014 frames or have the moved on?
