i am, well.... the riding part anyway. has this been run before and if so what can i expect? will it be full of super fit XC wonderkids or will it be a more social event?
p.s. ive never raced before so i dont have a clue what to expect!!

If its anything like the Whinlatter one it will be a very varied field.
I tried my hand at the running and the biking, it nearly ruined me but I still managed mid field mediocrity. I would guess the Grizedale one won't be quite as hilly but you never know.
When is it?

yep me and the missus will be there. Shes running i am riding. Not a race wippet by any means but i am sure some will be there
