[Closed] Anyone ditched their dropper?

They are great bits of kit...when they work! Twice in the last few months my Reverb has dropped and not wanted to return. Needs more attention after did it today. Feel like ditching it and getting a non-dropper - anyone done it? Coped or regretted it?

For the moment, yes. I need 25mm of layback on my posts which puts too much stress on them.

Yep, had a Joplin that was fine, only sold because I couldn't source a negative shim ๐Ÿ™‚ then a Reverb. When the Reverb died out of warranty I'd changed jobs and had no money so back to a fixed post. I miss it sometimes but having the droppers brought my riding on alot. I now aspire to mediocre.

**** no! My spare Reverb was away being lent to a mate when I built my BFe up recently. Was awful. Sharp got the Reverb back and it was awesome.

Learn how to fix the reverb. It's not that hard.
