I was looking for a kickstand for my shopper (stop laughing)

I don't carry loads of shopping 20kg max? but was wondering is it worth the extra money?

http://www.evanscycles.com/products/kf/big-foot-adjustable-propstand-large-ec006195 for a fiver from LBS

http://www.evanscycles.com/products/push/adjustable-rear-fit-atb-propstand-ec007521 for £17 from LBS

????????

I just don't want the bike to fall over!

the problem is the bike pivots around the stand and falls over. DAMHIKIJKOK.
there is a stand that cleverly lies down one side of your bike but opens out into two legs as it opens, which is brilliant.

Managed to try one in a LBS and the bike was no more stable than a wall/window! tipped over without any luggage!

I guess 2 legged stands would work but it can cost £26 and weighs a bit.

Cheers for the help Bassspine & Agency_scum!

Halfords/Bike Hut used to do a 2-legged one very similar to the one at the bottom left on the page that Pletscher link goes to at a fraction of that price though £10 maybe, had a quick look on the Halfords site but can't find it though, I got one a few years ago for my touring MTB, you'll also see them on some posties bikes

Update for anyone considering one-I've been using a Bontrager police kick stand and it's been ace when shopping or commuting even with full panniers it never tips over.
