I'd snap David's bike up quick he's probably desperate to buy grown up cycling accessories such as panniers and trouser clips

GW, you're miles off the mark. Ive been doing a bit of reading, and Ive come to realise cycling just isnt cool anymore. I'm going to spend the money on some decent mods for my newly aquired S reg Honda Civic LSI (its got a vtec engine).

Whilst you're out riding a kids bike thats too small for you, I'll be out doing 35 second quarter miles and listening to N Dubz on my new JVC.

Oh the shame!

@op. I'm 6'3 and ride a bmx. 21" TT with 8.5 bars and lots of spacers.

I'm 6'1 and ride a huge Twenty Tzar, I think it's 21 1/2". I could do with some higher bars really as my Sunday ones are a bit on the low side. If I ride for more than a few hours then I do start to ache a bit but it's mostly OK.

I've a country bikes Park (21.7"), they're not cheep, but they are cheeper than they were and come in big sizes.

Odly I was actualy thinking of selling it to fund a grownup commuter!

I love riding my BMX but find my 20.5 TT too short (I'm 6'1"). Any recommendations for a cheapish frame with a longer TT?

Mine, £160 posted for the whole bike, the frames were 800euro new so a quality bit of kit, even if it doesn't have modern touches like removable bosses, mid bb's and gyro mounts.

I just plug away on a 20.5" and am just 6 foot (poss 5-11") but once I got used to it I now find it ok....manualling is now so easy compared to MTB. Just wish I had more time to play about on it.
