I've got an Onza Jackpot from 2016 , it needs a new freehub . My LBS is finding it impossible to source a replacement. The only information I can find is they are Weinmann XC180 wheels

freehub has a 19mm thread apparently .

Weinmann were a budget rim and wheel brand used almost entirely for OEM wheels. I imagine the hubs are rebadged budget Formulas or Novatechs.

Onza (in 2016 anyway) were the inhouse brand of UK distributor Moore and Large, who went under last year.

Weinmann are still about, maybe give them a prod, they may be able to identify exactly which model of hub you have.

Weinmann and Onza are actually names that go way back, more than 30 years. As most others though, they'll have no connection to the original stuff, just a name to stick on stuff, although Weinmann were always wheel makers.

650b right? If that's the case I'd just buy a new wheel (or wheels) as you should be able to pick up a comparable pair for under £100 easily enough.

Yeah, I remember Weinmann from the 90s, I had a set of BCXs which had a Keith Bontrager connection (or at least, had Bontrager on the sticker)

I go back even further with Weinmann , I remember the name when we made dirt tracking bikes with our 5 speed racers . Ditch the drops stick cowhorns on and a chrome Bluemels mudguard and hit the dirt a full 10 years before those Marin County boys 👍

Anyway I bit the bullet and bought a pair of Hunt wheels as I intend to keep the bike and can't be doing with another set of cheap wheels. To be fair I was going to upgrade when I bought the bike but despite not being tubeless specific they've worked tubeless and done me well for nearly 4 years and considering I only paid £650 for the bike I'm still doing ok I reckon.
