We're off on a cycle tour on Saturday and we need to dump our car in Stevenage for 9 days, as that's where we're catching the train from.
Anybody know a nice quiet road where nobody will be inconvenienced by us parking there, preferably not too far from the station?
I was thinking of Fox road, or that general area

Looks like a narrow road with limited parking. I'm guessing you don't mind your car getting scratched (or worse) if you are prepared to leave it there for 9 days? Paying for parking probably cheaper than what you will pay out to chipsaway later.
The old Town is not far from the station. You could park legally there but there are cars constantly coming and going so its not what you'd call quiet. Better at the far end where there are less bars.
i used to live in stevenage and have been racking my brain as to a good spot i'd want to leave a car but can't think of one, sorry. you could try the guys at marshalls cycles. they were always very helpful and may have a spare space somewhere for some beer 😀

There's plenty of residential roads about, I'll probably abandon somewhere out f the way down one of those.
