Was wondering if anyone could help me out? I see halfords don't do an xl frame and the large one is a 19" frame. Being 6"3 im wondering if anyone out there is of a similar height that rides a large fs,and how they find it for size. I know the best way to find out is go and try one for myself but none of the local halfords have any in stock.
Any help would be great,thanks.

Whereabouts are you?

I'm just over 6' and went for the medium, a friend is around 6'2" and went for the large, we're both happy!

I've got the 2010 team fs in large and I'm 6'4, fits me perfect, but the frame design has changed since the 2010 model

Mine and my mates are the 2012 too, I've got the Pro, he has the Team, well spec'ed and great value bikes, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Between the two the Team does look much better value, the Pro doesn't really feel like £600 more bike.

Thanks podman pictures look good. I see the pro can be had for £1260 at the moment when add the the discount code online. I think that seems a good price for the pro. Do you think its worth the extra at that money?

That seems like a great price! But how much can the team be had for at the moment? Don't forget you can get 3% Cashback at Halfords too- that quickly adds up on a large sum!

One thing to check is the length of the bolts on the horst link (by the rear dropouts). I had a lot of trouble with mine coming loose. In the end I called into halfords to check the torque value. After some blank looks from the staff they rang their technical helpline who advised that the bolts were too short as standard and sent through some replacements. These have been fine.

That's really interesting Grim, mine has been fine but my mates came loose after a few long rides- despite being torqued up at PDI.

With a £360 difference between the two it's difficult to say, to be honest I think I'd probably go for the pro! Mine was a leaving present to myself, circumstance and availability dictated the Pro, but I wasn't complaining!

Quidco is a cashback scheme, if tracked successfully, 3-6 months after your purchase you'll get 3% of the original purchase price given back to you! There's some more info here: http://www.quidco.com/how-it-works/

OK still considering this bike and was looking through ebay and see one almost new with a slight difference in spec, ie the new mountain king 2 tyres and elixir 9 brakes replacing the older elixir cr.
Anyone know if this is the case? Also can anyone tell me is the rockshox revelation rlt a good fork and how would it compare to a reba rl fork as i know they are highly rated. thanks again.
