This Friday the FNSS comes to Milton Keynes so are there any STWers racing it.

Oh and before you start don't doub't the fact that the course is in MK.

And it's my last one as a vet, I shall be a 'Grande Vet' from then on.

I'm going to give it a go as it's about 5 mins from my house. Wouldn't call myself a STWer though, more of a lurker.

I'll be giving it a go. I hope the weather is better than last year. Wrong tyres and off camber banks made it tricky. I think I can remember saying hello to you last year, old git!

All the best.

Matt Lewis

Tbh Matt 2008 was'nt that bad. In 2007 it poured down and all those off cambers around the bowl became a bit interesting.
Jase, the rib still hurts a bit but I don't want to miss my only local race this year. My boy was doing it as well but his leg is still weak after the break earlier this year, doing that midweek race did'nt help him at all.
See you both there.

If it rains like 2007 I'd take Walsh fell shoes.

Anyone know what time it starts/need to be there? Doesn't seem to say anywhere on the FNSS site.

To make it even more confusing Oldgit, I believe Jase_MK is a Cyclone member!

Anyway, good luck tonight, I’ll come and have a chat (I’ll be the Jase watching not riding)

Cool, thanks.

To add to the confusion, I'm also "of MK". I'll be on an old 90s S-Works, come say hello 8)

I've not eaten bu$$er all food today, it'll have to be a kebab on the start line tonight which is never good.

Okey dokey, I'm on silver/black XTC

well that was fun. not a bad result for a 1st race.
on a steel singlespeed
with solid forks

I did feel a little "off message" compared to all the lycra clad race whippets on carbon hardtails tho...

Had to drop out on lap 2 due an exploding rear hub. Ah well, maybe next year...
