A friend of mine is after her first full suss bike to take on hols in May. She's ridden the same (pretty basic) bike for the past 15 years and has no idea what she wants, so ideally would like to try a few before buying! I have found a couple of demo days coming up in May but that's too late - does anyone know of anything on the south coast or Wales coming up in the next few months? Or alternatively a local mtb shop that stocks a few / happy for people to fiddle about and sit on them etc!

I think Hargroves in Southampton/Totton allow you to demo, and certainly allow you to do a car park test (although I appreciate this does not count for much).
Don't know about any before may,
Hargroves have two Demo days in may the the one at QE will be the Biggest/Most bikes
