Me and the rest of my soft Southern South Downs pals are heading over to Brecon end of March for a couple of days, and we're all a bit too pampered for bunkhouses.....I'm not ashamed.

Anyone stayed anywhere good in/near Brecon itself?

Thanks

Lovely welcome, really nice one bedroom appartment, big enough for 4 (6 at a squeeze). Very good breakfast and dinner, too. Recommended.

Stayed here a couple of years ago and was very impressed, mtb'ers made welcome. Food in restaurant was also good.

I've stayed at the Travellers Rest Talybont and I can tell you that Joy and Doug will rustle up some superb meals for you. You can chill out infront of the fire and the pussies (I'm talking cats here) will jump on your knee.

That is enough to put me off going there!
