Any good ones for a 34.9 mm tube?

Hope seems to have mixed reviews, just purchased a frm from on one but it's a bit fragile.

Should I just go Thomson?

Thanks in advance

I bought a Thomson and it looks nice and the seat post doesn't slip. I did have a Hope one but was always worried about over tightening/snapping the alloy bolt.

Salsa ones are nice, although a tad pricey for what they are. I don't know off the top of my head whether there's a 34.9mm in the range.

My Salsa's a 34.9 - does exactly what it should with no issues.

I've got a Thomson 34.9 but ended up going back to QR - really nice clamps though. Carbon Cycles do some nice double clamp ones that add a bit of extra security against slippage.

I use a Gusset clench seat clamp, good price and hasn't slipped yet.

Are you replacing a QR?

If so, just convert it, s'what I always do. Dome headed allen machine screw of the correct dia. and length with a domed nut the other end.

Token do a nice light allen-bolt one, not too pricey either. Works well enough on my bike.
