The FC has Caio down as offering mountain biking but all I found coming off Mynydd Mallaen were well-maintained fireroads and one bit of old motocross trail. It's a big place though, so is there anything else in there?

Never found anything worth riding there, and never seen anyone on a bike or even any tyre tracks.
The Brunant Arms is a nice pub, but that's about it.
