My son is a bmx'er and him and his pals are looking to get into mtb.
I was given an old SPecialized P1 frame and had a few parts knocking around to fit to it but no wheels.
They are into jumps etc so looking for something reasonably tough but not too expensive.
It's a long time since I looked into wheels so I now have no idea as to what is good, what is to be avoided etc so any help is much appreciated.

If you are in the Somerset area I've got bombproof pair Shimano hubs Alex rims think there's still a cassette with life in it . The front is set up for 20mm though . If it's any good there yours for not very much money 🙂 Just in the way in the garage
