Me an ex to. Started a family and didn't have enough time to train. Was fun though. Up early, do the race and back home in time for mum's roast usually!

Let me be the first to be ridiculed , note race number placed for modesty ๐Ÿ˜ณ
Had to give up after an RTA that put me on crutches for 4 months , mind you I discovered mountain bikes after , at least if I get hurt it's usually my fault!!

Yep did them in the 80s and early ninties. Do you remember the first ones when you stripped off in the open after each stage?
Then came the Castelli one peice Tri suits.

Did the first ever UK full ironman in wonderfull Peterborough.

Got a load of old pics about, all Speedos and hairnet crash helmets.

Quite handy on road bike west kipper, had been racing with Paddington Track, and The Kenton RC for ten years prior.
