I'm building up a Stanton Sherpa and after some suspension forks. Trying to find a descent deal on something like a Reba 100-120mm 29er fork with a 100x15 maxle.

Anyone spotted any deals or know of any good alternatives for a something light and well damped? I have a big bike for the Lakes and being daft on, so this bike is for XC and trail riding. I drive down to see my mum every 4-6 weeks in Sussex and want something that will not be so much of a chore on open rolling grassy Downland.

Cheapest Reba I can find is about £320. I can find boost ones at Decathlon for £249, but then I need to buy a new front wheel (this defeats the building a bike up from the bits I have left lying round the garage mantra).

I'd buy the boost one, you can convert your front wheel easily enough. No point buying an obsolete fork new.

Why do you need to buy a boost wheel🤔

The pair of wheels hanging in my garage are CX wheels from my Trek Crocket. The are Bontrager Affinity Comps with rear 125/9mm and 100/15mm front. I don't know of any conversions for Bontrager's own brand hubs - they aren't rebadged DT hubs and they have centrelock discs.

Ok,I've had some home schooling on boost hub conversions and found a generic centre lock conversion for a massive £7.
Looks like the Decathlon Rebas are the best option.
