Rear steer bikes, tall bikes, pedal backwards bikes etc?

For a school based cycling project i have in mind...

Any info on builders, manufacturers or distributors would be really useful.

There was Charlie's mate - I think his name was chunkolini....he used to build all sorts of strange things. perhaps drop charlie a line?

But you can build odd bikes without welding, eg:
