My '10 Revs are disintegrating fast. Ive been eyeing up the 150mm solo air Sektors at Merlin for £225. Worried they might be a bit basic damping wise since theyre unknown OEMs. Not worried about lockout:

Looking at these 140mm coils at discount-bike too, super cheap at about £190 delivered. Worried I might be too hefty at about 190lbs for the standard spring, looks like a firmer spring would be about £45.

Anything else out there I should be considering?
Been looking for the same thing
What's the issue with the Merlin forks?
The coil Sektors are what I fancy. Get them and send to Loco for spring upgrade and internal clean-up. Was planning to get them last year but no-one had any left by the time I was in the position to buy. Confused by all the permutations and not wanting to burst the bank. Will need a new front wheel and I need new brakes 🙄
New bike buying dilemma 🙄
Got a notn for some of the DT Swiss on CRC? But there was a thread on here a while ago and not much in the way of response other than the poor history regards their relationship with Pace forks which was not good
I've the Sektor RL SL forks on my pitch, no problems to report other than I still think the rebound is slow despite lettign them bed in for ages I'm only using a few clicks and they don't seem to slow it down the way I want it to, suspect they may need blueprinting or a PUSH/dual flow tune at TF, but it's not noticeable enough in normal riding to make it worth doing before they've had a years use and need it, I'll probably send the rear shock in as well and get them setup more evenly (the rear has a habit of rebounding too quickly relative tot he slow front over jumps making it nosedive).
Have been looking for something similar myself and have checked out every website I know of (and quite a few i had never heard of). Best deals are on the German websites bike-discount.de and bike24.de. best deals from the UK are either with winstanleys or a few on crc/Evans/merlin.
I have looked at options for me and could find loads of options with qr, a few good options with 15mm axles and nothing at the right price range with a 20mm axle. Not much out there if you need tapered either, although full 1.5 headset can find a few bargains.
If you are happy with qr then try the German websites or i could send a link to a set of revelation rc3 ti for £380 from a UK shop. I would prefer a coil fork, but was also tempted by some 2010 revelation team forks but again couldn't find a bargain pair with a 20mm axle anywhere except America.
I already have a wheel built on 20mm axle with no option to reduce to 15mm which is why I am stuck with that axle.crc had sektor to coils at £200 a few weeks back out of stock til march so i left them. Suddenly they came back in stock and the rice went up to over £300!
Good luck!
Fox float rl tapered 15mm for 350?

Another Sektor RL SL happy owner. Mine have the firmer spring fitted, the medium was too soft.
or i could send a link to a set of revelation rc3 ti for £380 from a UK shop
A set of what?- I'm guessing this is a typo- if it's Marzocchi RC3's could you post the link please.
Sorry, that was a typo. It is the revelation rlt ti which still looks like a cracking deal for a blackbox model fork:
http://www.bikeoutlet.co.uk/products/Rockshox_Revelation_RLT_Ti_150mm_Forks_2011-1607-49.html
Crc had the purple marzocchi rc3 ti at £405 last week, the other colours were nearer £700 but they have gone.
Anybody else seen any deals I might have missed that they want to share?
