Does anyone know of a company that covers mountain biking in an annual policy. I was recently with Virgin who insisted I paid an extra daily rate for 'extreme' mountain biking.
Any suggestions from people who have read the small print welcome...

Check British Mountaineering Council for starters. Very good insurance for individual trips, although not the cheapest.

I used Dogtag for my recent Alp's trip but didn't need to use it thankfully so cant comment on that side of things!
Good prices and cover though and very fast to get the paperwork and cool dog tag to me lol
British Mountaineering Council - I think that you have to be a member for this one.
Snowcard cover seemed comprehensive, although not had to claim on it.
SnowCard and DogTag are often recommended.
+1 for dogtag about to check how good they are with claims though

i have multi-trip for work and holidays. using the post office at the mo. the policy i took out last year covered me for my spain trip and not an unreasonable price at all, especially compared to dogtag and the like. check the current Ts&Cs though, obviously.
I think MBC and CTC are the ones to look at.
