Hi, this is probably a long shot but does anyone on here have a spare American Classic 15mm through axel conversion kit? I have an American Classic Disc-130 front hub which is standard QR but my forks are 15mm bolt through. Thanks in advance, John

AC parts are becoming harder to get hold of.. but I think this is what you are looking for.. (you may have to enquire as to whether they have the right one).

Many thanks Frogstomp! I also found that part but was hoping to pick something up cheaper. I bought the hubs for £60 and don't have much money for the build so was hoping someone might have a 2nd hand part.

I've got a pair of AC 29er wheels sat around doing nothing and I'm sure I have QR/ 142/ 15mm axles for each. Just the rear rim is cracked. I'll have to dig them out if interested?

Hi Dan, yes, definitely interested if you would be willing to just sell the front 15mm axel? My hubs are standard width though so the front is 100mm. Cheers, John

What a shame AC stopped making hubs and rims. They made some fantastic kit.

Did anyone buy the designs and start making it under a different name?

The freehub design with replaceable steel inserts. I wish hope would start doing that! Fed up of filing down chewed freehubs to get a cassette back on.

I'm currently running AC wide lightning rims on hope hubs. No idea what I'll replace them with when they finally break.

If anyone has any spare 29er wide lightning rims let me know. Ill take them off your hands.

I've just got a set of WTB Speed Terra 650b wheels and the hubs look suspiciously like AC hubs, the internetz says they may well actually just be AC hubs re-branded anyway
