The Mrs. knindly got me one of these as I'd mentioned a friend's one seeming useful:

Hondony (there are oter h brandfs of same item it seems)

21V Cordless Pressure Washer, 62 Bar Handheld Pressure Washer gun, 6-in-1 Portable Power Washer with 5M Hose, Cordless Power Jet Wash for Car Gardening (2 Batteries)

Any good? Any experience with this please?  I’ll use maybe once a week just in Winter.
Just for the worse muck, I know all about avoiding sensitive bike areas with high water pressure so n o need to help with that thanks.
Saves the inside of the car a bit

I know you can pay a lot more for brands like Worx or Dewalt, but why would you - other than sharing batteries?

safe? Chinese batteries, right? I expect they all are actually.

thx.

I've got one of these and it's absolutely brilliant for bike cleaning, especially post cross race or must MTB.. Nice range of spray pattern - a few of which give a nice spread which is great at getting rid of filth without the focused pressure to get into bearings. I'm still careful with it but it's great

Charge it up and give it a shot, that'll tell you if it is any good or not...I've got a Worx one and it gets used at least weekly, works brilliantly. I don't think it is the name that makes it work so well, hot water seems to be the thing - as hot as your tap will make it, fill a bucket up,.drop the hose in and off you go. Shifts everything without any real effort, works far better than cold water does.

My Worx has been very good for quite some time now, a few friends bought cheaper off brand versions to use with their branded batteries which have not lasted at all.

Just be careful storing in cold weather as freezing killed something inside the pump of our Lidl one (car boot / cold shed).

A guy on our Monday rides has the Worx - always nice to be in his group as it seems to have enough power to do half a dozen bikes

If you read the reviews on Amazon, on balance it would appear to be absolute crap

yeah I read those couple of bad reviews but there were more positive ones. I’m hoping it’s worth a go for the. I’ll come back once I’ve tested it.

You might not need to pay all that much more for a branded one, lots of worx stuff has been getting sold cheap recently, maybe they have a new range coming? I have taken a punt on this:

Well, so far the batteries charge in an reasonable time and it works with quite a variety of jets available just by turning the head - squirts harder than a hose, so care will be needed if using the narrow jet (tyres only I guess. Once my snotty nose has faded I'll try it out at the trailhead. As you would expect it's quite loud.

One plus point to the Missus so far (it was my birthday gift)
