increases BB height also ?(anyone know by how much for a given increase in axle to crown or is it bike dependant?) and that approx every 25mm increase in axle to crown reduces head angle by a degree ?

inc BB height, yes (suppose by very roughly half as much as the increase in crown height, at least on a hardtail - if your weight's pushed further back on a fs it may not rise so much (when sitting))
