[Closed] Am I missing something ? Front mech, gear cable routing - Commencal ???

I've recently bought a 2007 Combi S frame, which I'm lead to believe is the 2006 Meta 4 ? Anyhoo, I was fitting the gear cables last night and came across a problem.... The front mech gear cable runs under the bottom bracket (correct if I'm wrong please) and the outer terminates in the front part of the rear triangle, with the inner cable running through a hole and up onto the mech it'self but... the outter I'm using (Gore sealed) wont fit in the terminating cable stop, and that's without a ferrul on the end !
Am I missing a part or is the cable terminal in the frame just a very small diameter/have others had the same problem ?
