I'd like a TI 29er frame made. I've contacted Justin Burls and got a price from him. I've also contacted Porter at XACD who can do one for half the price.

Am I going to regret going with XACD?

Dont you if you'll regret it, but your bank will!
I doubt it'll be cheap, but i doubt thats an issue if you can afford to think about it.

Yeah I think XACD are about as cheap as you'll get, though of course the process might not be as smooth as elsewhere. Have you checked out that spanner bikes website (google it)? Some info on XACD there I think. I've read varying opinions on them. Cost / risk. Personally, a Ti frame for me was an aspirational thing, so I really wanted something with some craftsmanship that made me feel good about riding it. The quality of a frame from somewhere like XACD is probably fine (I've never seen one), but personally I just wouldn't get that nice fluffy feeling from riding/owning one. Cheap though.

XACD do 29er TI frames as standard now.

Here's a photo of one.

Anyway I've got a drawing of a frame and I'm going to order it.

I'll post up here when I get it and it's built up.

Stay tuned.
