Are there any replacements you can get that aren't £35?

I've bought a used Solaris max 2 frame and the owner kept the axle boooh!

Are you sure?. I can't find one that's 1mm pitch? Aren't the surface ones conical at the min drive side insert too?

I use the dtswiss ones at around £20. There’s a couple of other options for the same money but I think that’s the best.

Specialized do a Syntace X12 axle, for 20 quid. Think they're for the Stumppy and Camber. I'm using one on a bike from a different manufacturer!

I bought a far near one off eBay. It's not quick release but has been fine so far. £25.

Yeah being Boost doesn't help 😀 I doubt you will get one below 30 quid from a legit UK retailer.

KCNC and Novatec do X12 axles.

You can get Syntaces plain allen headed axle for about 30, rip off for what it is!
