Met these guys at the TdF Yorkshire and their website has just gone live. Their service/options seems to fit my needs well and might be worth a look for others. Much cheaper than previous standalone cycle quotes I've received too.

Doesn't seem any cheaper than other standalone policies for me. It's still around 10% of the bike's value for a year of cover. Their coverage might be superior but I only had a quick look.

Comes out a little cheaper than 10% for me, but still nearly as much as my M&S house policy.

Strange that they don't seeem to have a good old black and white T&C's on the website, not that I spent more than a couple of minutes looking. I see they need a sold secure lock but couldn't find anything about storage of bike in outbuildings etc and where it needs to be after dark.

Designed by cyclist my ****.

It's designed by Hiscox and excludes the usual

Property cover will not pay for:
? theft from your home unless the normal security protections are fully operative and in force and the theft is a direct result of violent or forcible entry or exit by the thieves;
? theft away from your home unless the cycle is secured through the frame by an approved lock to an immovable object or is stolen from the transition area of an organised competitive biathlon or triathlon in which you are participating;

Which like all these standalone policies means your bike must be taken by force to be covered, an unlikely event and not an exclusion of most household contents policies.
Not worth having IMO

Cover for one bike is more expensive than my M&S home insurance covering 3 bikes, all my kit, and none of the stipulations.

No better than any other standalone provider, fail to see how any can turn a profit!
