As per the title.
Is there an alternative handlebar mount to the supplied band system. Looking at the Lezyne clamps on offer its not clear if you can just swap the original out for a proper clamp style.
Anyone have one and done this or confirm if the original band set up is a decent one

I unscrewed the hex bolt and found it was the same as a Hope clamp bar mount - so I use that now

Find the rubber band clamp on my Lite Drive excellent. Only thing I can think is it wont fit 35mm bars very easily, but I sometimes clamp mine to the bar tape on my Tripster with a extension bit taken from one of these - 
Still holds it perfectly secure.
I have the alloy clamp on the 1600. It just bolts in place of the original strap. Feels more secure
