guys iv been riding my nomad now for a good few months an theres only two things i would like to change so i was wondering if any of you have done the same...?

firstly i find the bike rides high and being over 6ft i dont find it corners the best and being a enduro bike i find the head angle isnt as slack as i would like. the head angle is 67.5 and the BB hight is 14 inches which is pretty high.
i have looked at offset bushes from Burgtec which would lower the BB and also a Works Components headset to take 2 degrees off the head angle.
can any of you tell me if youve done any adjustments or is there anything else i can do.

cheers

Chris

How old is your Nomad? I thought they were 67° as standard?

I've got some of the offset bushes on mine, with a 170mm Lyrik & CK external bottom headset cup.

Head angle is now 66°, and via my tape measure I have dropped 3/4" off the BB height.

Worth bearing in mind, that with a Vivid air, the front shock mount is seriously tight, literally a piece of papers gap on one side & the other is actually touching where it moves the shock forward on the mount. Not sure if any other shocks have a shaft as fat as the Vivid though. I'm keeping an eye on it as I may have to lose the front one.

I can't decide if it's any better or not, i'm doing the Gravity Enduro race this weekend so some decent time on the bike should help me decide. The HA at 67° I didn't have a problem with, I just wanted to lower the BB a bit.

I'm not sure I would want to go any further than it is, 66° is pushing what's usable for anything other than gravity riding IME.
