I know its a footpath, but "in theory" would it be a viable route from Hope toward Cut Gate?
Or would it make a nice 40km day out an horrendous mistake (for competent MTBers).

That's quite a push up, better to go from Hagg Farm along the ridge in that direction, all rideable, "in theory" 😉
