[Closed] Alpkit wheels - what hubs?

Does anyone know what hub alpkit use for their b+ wheels? I need freehub bearings but am not near the hub to take it apart. The website doesn't list enough detail *.

The freehub looks very like the superstar Tesla one, I'm wondering if they are the same.

* Yes I know calling them would be easiest.

This got asked a while ago on the Bearbones forum. I've the B+ wheels but no further info myself.

Thanks for the pointer. That thread only had the fronts listed but another one has the free hub size listed.

Front: 6804 2RS
Rear:
Freehub: 6902 2RS

Interesting to see from the second thread I'm not the only one who has had issues with the end cap coming loose!

Got a set of 650b+ Rumpus wheels with Shimano freehub sat in the garage so just had a look.

Rear hub bearings: 6902-2RS
Rear freehub bearings: 15267-2RS

That was me with the end cap coming loose. Not been a problem since but I don't do a huge mileage on them.

Since you're a 'P' member it might be worth tagging this thread to help others if they have the same problem.

Hmm, me front hubs use 6902-2RS bearings too. Sounds like there's been a design change somewhere along the line...

I will check my front and see what that has. Thanks for the main rear size. I'll do tags later.

Dudie, how old are yours? The 6804 2RS size is 26mm OD. The product page on alpkit's page lists 30 OD for the main bearings and 28 OD for the freehub.

Got them a few weeks ago in the Alpkit sale, so current spec. I would hope

They're using KT for the dynamo hubs - might be the same for the rest of the line?
