Just looking for a couple of bags for the bike at the moment and it seems to be Alpkit and Apidura that have the best ranges.
Is one better than the other or are they much of a muchness?

I've got both and I'd go for Apidura. Just that bit better made I feel... stronger fixings and straps etc. Also you can actually buy the Apidura stuff rather than put your name on the waiting list for the next delivery ๐Ÿ˜‰

Nothing against Alpkit, I've got plenty of their stuff ๐Ÿ™‚

I wouldn't say either has the "best" ranges. Wildcat, Revelate, Alpamayo are all worth considering too. Having seen quite a few variations I do think you get what you pay for, though I'm about to take a punt on a cheaper Lomo framebag.

My revelate kit is head and shoulders above my alpkit stuff.

Apidura stuff is well made and nice, I've used mine extensively and been happy. One thing to mention is they're not waterproof so I use a bin bag to keep spare kit dry.
