The only cycling garment I wear out quickly are short liners because I wear them all year under shorts then longs when it gets cold. Can anybody suggest some that I can buy seperately that are really comfy [subjective I know] and have lighter material than just lycra shorts cos I do get hot when its not absolutely freezing.

I use these all year round under shorts or tights- very comfortable for me and have lasted well. Not a fashionable brand but on offer at the moment!

What's the fit like on those Jim?

I'm a 33in waist so sometimes between M and L.

cheers, think I'll chance a medium - unless they're particularly snug on you?

No, I prefer them not too tight. In my experience wiggle are fine for swapping if wrong size anyway
