[Closed] Alfine question

Hi,

Please can someone tell me if I need a specific frame to use a Shimano Alfine hub?

I havent ever seen one in the flesh but have seen from pics that it uses a nut arrangement rather than a QR. I have noticed that On-One are selling Alfine Whipets so assume I could run an Alfine on a standard carbon frame whilst using a chain tensioner or adjustable drop outs?

Finally are there any issues with building it up on a 29er rim? I cant think of any issues but thought I would ask on here first!

To summarise can I build a carbon 29er with an Alfine and chain tensioner?
