Can anyone who's got one comment on the sizing?

Last time I tried any Albion stuff it was very Italian Roadie sized. Had a look at their size chart and I'm a large, but if anyone's got one, how do they size up? , any comments on it? I want a rain jacket that's reasonably form fitting with minimum 'features' that I can just go in a base layer and jacket for those days when you just know you're going to be wearing it all day, but I don't want to have to guess on the size given how spendy it is

I haven't got that specific jacket but I have a bunch of their other clothing (including the Zoa rain shell XL and the ultralight insulated jacket XXL) and the tops are small. I'd size up if I were you, and still be prepared to send it back to exchange for a bigger one.

Hiya,

I just got one. I haven't had time to test it but the quality is living up to th reports. I live in North Somerset, it has destroyed all but Keela jackets so far, so lets see.

@nickc

Sizing? well I'm standard large with broad shoulders and it fits perfect. The arms I would say are on the shortest size. If you have long arms and medium size, you may have to resort to large. Across the mid-drift there's enough space for a few layers. The fabric isn't that stretchy, so you do need to get you sizing right. Oh yes if you sign up to Albion and buy direct you get 10% off which is better than other retailers.
