I asked about a shorter travel edit, they said watch this space?

I was also told watch this space about a longer travel edit! Something is coming but not sure when!

There are frame only fs options on there - just no full bikes. Maybe they’ll release a boost spaced v3?

Their Instagram has had a couple cryptic posts lately. I’m guessing a slightly different bike. One of them said never rode a bike like this before..
Also they have 160mm lyriks reduced on their site. That would suggest a different travel bike to me!

I heard plans were being hatched but no idea what the plan is or if they are coming to fruition soon.

But then what do I know, this was me with a plan earlier!!

Asked about that as well! Last thing I need is another bike to add to my growing list of bikes I want to buy!

I'd definitely be interested in trying a v3 and 29er.

Be nice to see a single track review of the edit, seem to see a lot about the birds but no edit reviews.

I'd guess it will be a 29r.

They have:

27.5 FS
27.5 HT
26 HT

Love my Edit.

I think i might invest in the 26 HT unless they bring out a 26 Slope frame.

I reckon 130mm-150 29er FS bike, which I'd be very interested in.
Question is, will he stick to the same suspension platform?
The Edits were based on a china magazine frame with tweaks, but not really aware of a good 29er FS platform available from a magazine as a base? Maybe he's got enough capital built up to go his own route.

Yea, would love to add a shorter travel 29er. My Edit v2 is a fantastic bike.

Short travel (sub-130mm) burly 650B FS with ISCG tabs please. Not too long either, ta. Oh, and space for a bottle cage in the front triangle on all the sizes.

edit- the fastest time overall at the Eastgate DH last year was set by a fella on a Bitmap, he was bloody fast-

I asked for a gravel bike he said "**** off". How rude these young whipper snappers are!

A short travel bike and a longer travel bike would be good! Probably a lot to get two bikes out though!

Reading between the lines it's a new Edit V3 frame with the same travel and same wheel size. I can't see them reducing the travel or going 29 given the riding ethos in the Pennines which is their core local market. I suspect a geometry tweak, boost spacing and removal of the mud shelf. I love my V2 and they're the only changes I can think to improve it.

Well a short travel burly 650b Edit is essentially going to be a Scout.

If you wanted a bit of length then an Aeris 120 would fit the bill, except maybe for bottle cage on smaller sizes.

After a lovely chat with the chaps at Airdrop, whatever comes next will def have boost spacing but apart from that they were very quiet! The excitement builds...

Not that revealing I'm afraid; the same picture also shows 27.5".

At least we know it won't be 26"

You can get a bottle cage on any size with a little bit of fiddling and a cage mover mount, even more so if its a non piggy back shock where pretty much all sizes will work no messing.

In publishing and graphic design, lorem ipsum is a placeholder text commonly used to demonstrate the visual form of a document without relying on meaningful content (also called greeking). Replacing the actual content with placeholder text allows designers to design the form of the content before the content itself has been produced.

The lorem ipsum text is typically a scrambled section of De finibus bonorum et malorum, a 1st-century BC Latin text by Cicero, with words altered, added, and removed to make it nonsensical, improper Latin.

Shouldn't be using Lorem ipsum any more.. lazy lazy 😉

Ran an xml-sitemap analyser but can't find any of the pages above.
Guess Ed took it down once someone leaked it.

The link i posted above took to you to the edit v3 details that looked like they were left on the site by accident.

The ebike appearing is clearly a red herring to cover up their mistake.

In summary the v3 is boost, metric shock 205x60 trunnion (155mm travel) with the refined geometry as above.

edit: and an XL added to the range

Daaaamn 78.7 SA... now that is steep!  But the downside is the really short ETT length. My current M sized bike with 440 Reach has longer ETT than L v3.
Nicolai/Pole compensate for the steep SA and slack HA with quite long ETT, so you don't feel cramped.
