Hey,
just wondering if there's much gain in using an air pike over the coil in terms of weight?
I like my coil pikes, but might change them for air pikes if there's a noticeable difference? If it just comes down to a small amount I won't bother.
Thoughts ?
Cheers
btw, knees ain't perfect so looking at loosing a little weight on the bike if pos... otherwise I wouldn't be bothered ๐
If you happy with coil stay with them. ๐
you'll not get a air fork that feels like your coil without spending a fair bit of money.
Im happy with the feel of them, would replace them with the same fork, but air. If they save a good amount of weight. Otherwise I won't waste my time ๐

about 1/2lb by the sound of it, that is 220grams. i.e **** all
IRC they are about 300 grams lighter.
Coil Pike are pretty heavy, but a very nice fork, Air pikes are still pretty plush (the dual air helps) but not as smooth as coils
