So thinking about Afan tomorrow, Cwmcarn is about 45 minutes closer though. Is there about 4 hours worth of xc type riding there though? Or would I end up laping the same trail twice. Cheers.

The original XC trail at CC is so heavily diverted at the moment it's not really worth riding - 30 mins of fire road for a 10 min descent.
The new one is fully open, but it's not 4 hours worth.

Brechfa is probably an extra 40 mins drive or so though 😮 . I do like the Raven trail though.
