[#1460733]

I sold this 'thing' to a bloke on another forum. Paypal received, next day delivered, then buyer confirmed 'thankyou received as expected'.

2 months later, the bloke pops up and says it doesn't perform as expected and on inspection is 'past its best'. I used it six weeks before posting it and it performed as described. It's not electro mechanical so couldn't/wouldn't have degraded in the intervening six weeks.

The bloke wants a refund 2 months after despite having the intervening period to raise the issue and having confirmed safe/correct receipt.

Opinion please?

He's had long enough to inspect it

2 months is too long, no refund IMO

I'm more intrigued about what this 'thing' is, tbh!

but, yes, tell him to **** off - if he raises a dispute with paypal you're on good grounds.

I dint want to be too specific as I'm just going through the process with him now. Panic ye not, it's quite dull...

Two months is too long for a paypal dispute isn't it? Hope it is anyway.

Your buyer is very cheeky.

OK, so this is a guessing game now? Silly putty?

Too late - especially if he accepted it in the first place

Thank you, that's what I thought. Just checking I wasn't being unreasonable.

You can't start a thread like that and not tell us what it is.

It's just not fair. 🙁
