By todays standards, this bike is probably a museum piece. 12 years ago i upgraded from a fully rigid clunker that i'd done 2000+ miles on to the bike below. Did about 150 miles (the bike is like new!), had a few stupid falls, never really had the same confidence, and lost interest. Its sat unused for 10+ years.
Now me and a few of my mates are getting back into biking (checked the bike over and done a few rides, really enjoying it)- what the hell has happened! Disc brakes, full face helmets and a downhill track on every hill so it seems! Things have really moved on.
To get back on subject i've never really liked the full sus for xc, but i do like having a play on the dh courses that we have round our way, done some searching and have found the fox pedal pro rear shock units which sound an ideal solution. Would this type shock work with my frame? I figure id couple it to a dropper seat post (very limited adjustment on the FSR) and i'd have a fairly good all rounder, any thoughts?
Cheers,
Matt
