Trying to adjust a TLD helmet cradle, need to pull out the little studs to lower the cradle cage at the rear.
The studs seem to be stuck fast! If I pull any harder the foam is flexing around the fixture points! Is this right, don't want to tear out the fixtures or foam!!
Mine were similar (TLD A2, new a few months ago) , I sprayed some GT85 on them and left for 10 mins and they popped out easily
I have just today received an A2 to replace my A1. Studs were stiff, but a good pull and they came loose no problem. Personally I wouldn't be happy spraying solvent on the foam...
At the end of the day, if the fixtures pull out the foam it's probably a warranty issue anyway, so aside from the hassle I'd still feel I'd have more comeback in that case than if I'd sprayed the lid.
