installed a 2012 xt 2x10 setup on my hemlock, the 2 chain rings up front are very close to the chain stay and im having problems with dropping the chain when shifting to the larger front sprocket. the hemlock is designed for a 50mm chain line but the new xt is 48mm i think?
i have one of the shimano plastic spacers on the non drive side, is it possible to put another on the drive side to move the sprockets out slightly?

But they're measured differently, 3 ring setup from middle of seatube to middle ring and 2 ring setup from middle of seatube to middle of two rings.
2 ring should be fine!
No, you can't put another spacer on.

But you can put the spacer on the other side...where it should be.
