Hi guys im looking for a half decent action cam for downhill riding.. can anyone recoment a decent one in the lower end of the market (£30/40) cant afford a gopro at the min..
Or was wondering if theres a phone holder out there strong enough to carry a galaxy s3 over the bumps and jumps of off road??

Not sure I would fancy having my S3 mounted in a precarious position, shame as the camera is great on it.
I think the cheap go-pro style camera is still a bit of a holy grail. I have been looking but the cheap ones seem to have poor reviews.
I've been looking around and am contemplating getting one of the SJ1000 Go Pro clones off Ebay for around £50. The Techmoan site does a good review. Google it for more info.
I can't justify spending 4 times the price on something that i'm unlikely to use often.
tough one guys, the idea of using the phone would be my bvest solution if i can find a suitable mount as they all seem to be made with roadies in mind!!
to be honest i may just opt for a cheapy on ebay was just hoping some may have already tried them and recommend a good one 🙂
