Anyone got any recommendations for a decent B&B or whatever near Glentress? Forecast is good for tomorrow, maybe not Friday but going anyway!

will say the wigwams at GT are good accomodation but the owner is not doing much for retaining custom.

Those wigwams are also quite expensive at £40 a night.

5 cant be comfortable - me, mrs and dog stayed in one at APplecross for a week and that was ok but 5 blokes and bike gear cant be pleasant.

You can get the bike house for £100 for 5 folk per night.

5 beds - at 8 quid a night ! cant complain !

or 20 quid a night for the bike house ....

dont think ill bother with either next time.

bikelodge is still my favorite in the area - you do pay for it but its worth it !

Www.Craiguart.co.UK (caution the breakfast is huge) the lovely lady owner will wash and dry your kit too, heartily recommended and only 0.7 miles from the hub
