For a lads trip to take in the above trails.
Can I have some recommendations please?
We always seem to end up at Barncrosh just outside Castle Douglas.
Great place if there's loads of you but you'll need taxi's or a designated driver if you planning nights on the ale.
there's loads of stuff on http://www.cottages4you.co.uk/
We stayed at Gorsebank last time. Great accommodation, cheap and 300 metres from trail head at Dalbeattie

Gorsebank
Marthrown of Mabie
Kipford caravan park
Mabie House pods
Probably best staying near Dalbeattie/Dumfries and travelling the 1hr to Kirry
Sandy Hills holiday park has worked for - literally 1/2 way round Dalbeattie (took us 3 trips to work that tho!)
+ you can cycle the coastal path along to Kipford. Might be closed for the winter soon tho. Also has pods/wigwams.

Cheers for the recommendations ๐
did the same a couple of months ago and stayed at Mabie House Hotel. Couldn't fault it - great service and great food and right at the start of the loop around Mabie.

Urr lodge is decent and close to Dalbeattie, cheap too. Its handy to have a none drinker to drive you down to Kipford though for food and beer.
Glenearly caravan park in Dalbeattie - a 10 minute ride from trail head.
